Annual Tree & Shrub Seedling Program
Cattaraugus County Soil & Water Conservation District offers an annual sale of deciduous and coniferous tree seedlings, as well as many species of native shrubs. This event helps us support the conservation of natural resources, enhancement of forestry and growth of wildlife habitat in Cattaraugus County. Planting trees and shrubs on your property can have a multitude of benefits depending on the species you choose and the goals you have for your property, over time they can:
Provide habitat for wildlife.
Attract more wildlife to your property with new food sources.
Stabilize eroding soils.
Provide shade (after a few years of patience).
Reduce home heating and cooling costs.
Act as a wind break.
Or just look great in your yard!
ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MARCH 11, 2024 OR UNTIL SUPPLIES LAST
Order pick up day is Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds from 8am -4pm
*We have no control over seedling size.
*We will not replace any seedlings after they have left our distribution center.
*No refunds will be issued for orders not picked up.
